The real magic in 3D printing happens when you are able to create your own designs. You will learn basic knowledge of AutoCAD, the ability to utilize CAD tools to create your own 3D models at home, as well as preparation to incorporate 3D modeling in practical, everyday projects.
This class focuses on modeling ONLY, you will not be using the 3D printer. If you are already familiar with 3D modeling or just want to know how to print, please look into the other 3D printing classes available from Ideaworks.
March 28 6:00pm - 8:00pm & March 31 10:00am - 2:00pm (12:00 - 12:30 break): Software installation, AutoCAD exploration including an introduction to tools, and construction of basic a 3D model.
April 4 6:00pm - 8:00pm & April 7 10:00am - 2:00pm (12:00 - 12:30 break): Finishing of the 3D model, part personalization, and a brief discussion about the printer.
We will provide you with everything you need but feel free to bring your own laptop if you prefer.

Cancellation, Change, and Refund Policy
This is a high demand event with limited spaces available. A request of cancellation must be received by email to classes@fresnoideaworks.org 72 Hours prior to the event date to be eligible for a refund. Please note, a $15.00 processing fee will be assessed per cancellation from the total refund.
Regretfully, we are unable to issue refunds and/or credit for a missed class. However, in some circumstances at the discretion of the instructor and management, pending availability, a credit may be given towards future sessions with special circumstances.
In the case Ideaworks must cancel a class, full registration fees based on the original form payment was made will be refunded.
